In this edition of the Warriors of Wrestling Warrior Wire we will hear from :Rudeboy” Riley, Chris “the show” Steeler, “Majin Prince” Nero, ABSolutely Latino, Jose Salvador, Lady Diamond Dee, Nephtoli & Harley, Glitz n’ Glamour, Logan Black, and the return of Tony Torres.

The east coast’s premier pro wrestling organization Warriors of Wrestling comes back to Staten Island with its second annual super-show “Full Throttle”. The event takes place on May 12 at Funstation USA (3555 Victory Blvd). “This has become a yearly event for us that we know the fans love” commented Commissioner Joe Miller. “While our fans make it to all our shows because they know we always deliver, they are all very excited to see TV wrestling names take on some of their favorite Warriors of Wrestling stars”.

The main event that night is what many are considering to be the first real dream match in W.O.W. history. Nero has carved a niche for himself as being one of the most entertaining stars to watch in 2012. He began this ascent by showing his skills in the tag division, where he is a former two time tag team champion. That night, he will take on a man who many consider to be one of the best tag team wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots; Marty Jannetty. Jannetty’s career has taken him all over the world, as he has held gold in many companies including the AWA and WWE (as part of the Rockers with Shawn Michaels). A certified legend, Jannetty comes to Staten Island with absolutely nothing to prove…while Nero knows how much a win that night could cement him as a bonafide rising star. Will it be Nero’s time to shine at Full Throttle?

The No Limits division has been one of the most original creations of W.O.W. since its inception. It blends all different styles together, leaving the competitors to truly adapt to any situation. However, once cannot deny the influence of the hardcore style to this division and its champion Logan Black. A veteran of many violent brawls, Black has shown he can be just as dangerous behind a lariat as he can be behind a chair. Another innovator of the hardcore style, former ECW and WWE champion Justin Credible will be there on May 12 to try out the No Limits Champion. Will the No Limits title be claimed for the Hardcore Icon? Or will the American Nightmare continue to dominate all comers?

Chris Steeler has also been on a rise as of late. Despite his ego, he has managed to show tons of promise in his recent matches. On May 12, he will take on former TNA and ROH star Sonjay Dutt. While both men are certainly skilled on many levels, Steeler has yet to face an opponent with the aerial skill set of Dutt. A world traveled star, Dutt brings with him an arsenal of moves that Steeler will have to study up on…or be forced to count the lights at the end of the match.

This event takes place on April 28th at the Point Pleasant Elks Lodge (820 Arnold Avenue) in Point Pleasant. “After spending so much time in New York, it is nice to come back to the state that held the first years worth of shows” commented commissioner Joe Miller. “We have a stacked card for the night and we hope that everybody follows us back to our new home in Staten Island”.

Many people feel that Chris “Show” Steeler came close to putting away the current heavyweight champion Jason Kross in March. Needless to say, Warriors of Wrestling management has given him the opportunity to show his worth again as these two face off on April 28th. Kross is a three time champion who has defined what it is to be a champion in this company. Will Steeler create a new chapter in the legacy of the W.O.W. Heavyweight title?

New tag team Glitz and Glamour have shown a strong connection with the fans despite only being with the company for a short amount of time. Syndicate leader Nephtali Rodriguez has taken to heart the quick rise of this team and has set out t crush their momentum early. He has signed his monster tag duo of Harley and Fallah to take on Aaron Stride and Jared Foster. A true case of “irresistible force meeting the immovable object”, this match is sure to leave the fans breathless.

The win streak for Nero has continued strong with two wins in March. However, on April 28th he faces what could be his biggest challenge yet in “The Protector of Professional Wrestling” Jack Gallow. Gallow has shown that his pure wrestling skills are often enough to put away opponents with minimal effort. If Nero wants the streak to continue, he has to bring his best to the Jersey Shore.
